 Schalke are without striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (34-16-4 all comps), also missing are fellow striker Ciprian Marica (21-7-6) and suspended defensive midfielder Jermaine Jones (29-2-6), only CL match he missed was the 2-2 home draw with struggling Montpellier, which is interesting.

We can trot all the cliches out for this one (six pointer etc), it is a massive game at the foot of the table. I have a soft spot for the Royals, they are my nearest top flight club and have a blueprint for success that many clubs, like Brentford, can look to emulate.

Angers: Midfielder Rayan Frikeche (19 appearances -3 goals -0 assists) and Diego Gomez (15-1-1) remain sidelined, the are a better team with both especially Gomez, but he has not played in 2013 and they have won their last two without his right sided colleague.

Graeme McDowell opened with a solid 67 yesterday, three strokes ahead of both Tiger Woods and Rory McIIroy, no golf tournaments are won on Thursday, but he is now shorter in most betting lists than than the two pre tournament favourites and hopefully "our man" can build on that today and put himself in a strong position heading into the weekend.
